Hi, I am new hear and am starting the enbrel shots this afternoon at the Docs office. The nurse will teach me how. I was wondering if I should bring the hubby along so, he could watch and learn as well. He is not squeamish about this. But I do know I have to learn myself.
ThanksIt really isn't that hard. But if you need the moral support, by all means take it.
Michael just called and left a message he will meet me at the Docotrs office. I think he will feel better observing
so in case he needs to he can.
So, I guess I accept that. But I am thinking if a child can give themselves a insulin shot, I can do this. So, that will be my attitude when I go.
Still a little scared.

By now you've had your first injection and you should be on your way to feeling great again. I hope you have no side effects. I haven't, and I've been on it for 6 weeks...and I feel GREAT! First time in 10 years that I can get up in the morning and walk down the stairs like a normal person. I am so amazed by this drug I actually get emotional when I talk about it.
