That is good news Nora.
Sulfersalizine was the first DMARD I was put on over 12 years ago. I used it will much success for many years. It's rather mild; but your doctor probable feels like it's a good med for you early on. I'd agree....but I think there's no time like the present to start it.
Don't let them delay that too long. It's purpose it to slow the progression of the disease. Knowing yours isn't too bad right now would be a great time to begin a milder treatment like that. It's likely to respond very well.
