Ok, today my hands and feet hurt worse than they have in a while, my knees too! Then about two hours ago, it's like whammo, hyper sensitive to EVERYTHING!! Noise, smells, my skin is crawling everywhere, It's like I can feel the nerve ending trying to pop out of my skin from the inside... I'm real touchy mood wise, and near tears
The brownies sound really good.
But I have no idea what is happening. The pain sounds very familar.
Are you having any kind of headache with this as well because it sounds somewhat like a migraine.
I think you should rest and see how you feel. If this continues, then see the doctor. It doesn't fit in with anything I know about.
Hope it passes.
No, no headache... thank goodness! It's a bit better right now, but it was totally weird! Total sensory overload! Have you gotten enough rest lately? Mmmmm, brownies - there's an idea! Hi Honey, yes I've been getting plenty of rest since I'm still home from surgery in July. So that's not it either... I woke up this morning and my upper extremities were still very sensory overloaded, especially my arms, hands, shoulders across my back. It's very strange, I don't have that feeling of hearing overload anymore, though. I'm wondering if it's the beginning of a flare, like a signal. My feet and ankles are very tender this morning... Are you on any different meds?
Hi Terri, I don't know what causes what your feeling but I get it too. It passes eventually by itself. I try to stay away from others and lay down but at times it's sooo bad I feel like I'm goning to go crazy! I have restless leg syndrome as well as this weird thing that you speak of. Can't get comfortable or feel right no matter what you do. Feel like my whole body's screaming. If you find out what it is let me know?
Take care-Peace, Tam
Terri,
Still don't know what is going on with you. But you have gone through a lot lately. If you still feel this way on Monday, I'd call and ask both your Rheumy or OB/GYN. Maybe it's a reaction to something that they gave you in the hospital.
Or sometimes, in any surgery, nerve damage can occur.
But it is strange and I would definitely at least ask.
