Got some info in the mail on a new way to inject your enbrel, forgot what its called, but it comes in a canister like thing and the needle is hidden inside and you press it on your skin and push a button at the end and in injects the enbrel, anybody heard of this? I am going to ask my rheumy when I go to see him Monday.Wonder if it cost more than the shotI have heard of it, and if you go to the Enbrel website, it says "coming soon". I take enbrel and I am looking forward to the easy method..It's very sinilar to the insulin people take. good luck, Rain YES! It was just released this month. It's a pen injector. It's much like a pen in that you put it flush against your skin, press a button on top and hold it then I think you count to 15, release the button and the needle retracts up into it. So you never, ever see a needle! I asked the pharmaceutical company that sends my Enbrel if they have it and they said yes and that when I call to reorder my three mo. supply next week I can request that instead. No new prescription is needed for it. I will ask my rheumatologist what he thinks about it on Friday. Very exciting.
