Well for those of you that have been around for awhile and know I have been dealing with ra, oa and pa, I have some very good news!!!! I am off the arava and the enbrel, the only thing I am taking, besides my vitamins and synthroid is an occasional nsaid for pain. I have now officially been off arava and enbrel for 3 months and have not had any problems. I talked with my rd and he feels I am in a remission at this time, but for how long we do not know, but I am not taking anytime for granted. I still wear my splints when I feel the hands are aching alittle, but I have not had any pain like I have had for the last few years!!!
Congratulations, Meme! Whatever it is, bottle it. Now, that's one thing I would buy!!! Dance until dawn, sweetie. I hope it lasts forever. I have been doing really well myself the last several months. Maybe one day I'll be right there with ya. Good for you. I'm just thrilled. LOL, do a dance for me! Great news meme. It does us all good to see that remission is possible. Keep up the good work.Thank you Ladies and don't worry I am staying around just because I don't have the bad pain right now doesn't mean I am going away, I just wanted to share my good news. I do feel guilty telling you all this news but I feel the new ones especially need to know there is a light at the end of the tunnel for now. As the rd said when the colder weather comes back in I maybe right back where I started, but for now I just feel so good
