Osteo- BiFlex was recommended for me to try. I have been told by a few ppl that many rheumy's suggest this supplement. Has anyone ever tried this and noticed a significant difference?

Thanks-

Panz

Panz, I use glucosamine/chrondroitin regularly and do feel it helps.  I have used Osteo-BiFlex, as well as cheaper brands.  They all work.  Some have MSM added which is an anti-inflammatory.

My doctor told me that 60% of patients tested found improvement in their symptoms from taking these supplements.  Fortunately I am in the group that benefits and so is my hubby!  If we run out and miss a couple of days, we can definitely tell it was helping.

I suggest you give it a try and see if it works for you.
I started taking glucosamine almost two months ago for some knee pain (which is OA, not RA).  It took about 6 weeks before I noticed any difference (they said it could take two months) but I definitely notice a major difference in the amount of pain in that joint.  It is so much better.

I was lucky enough to obtain enough samples for a month. I started it right away and pray that I will too, see a difference. Thanks for the info!I take the liquid version...called Flexicose.  Someone told me that it is easier and quicker for the body to absorb it that way...I don't know if that it true.  It is nasty to drink but I do think it helps.
