I really thought I was doing pretty good. I was still having symptoms - night sweats, fatigue, cough, pain in hips, rib area, shoulders, neck and headaches. But the pain was so much less than I had been experiencing before I started taking Pred. that I was just sure every thing was going right.
I'm so tired of taking pills and it seems like every time I go into see the dr I come out with more piles to take. Some days I think about just throwing them all in the toilet and forget about them. But then I remember how bad I felt before I started taking all those pills and just keep taking them.
Enough of this. As long as I have this darn disease, I might as well accept what ever goes with it. Thanks for being there for me to get my feelings out to. I'm 70 years old and ought to know be now that life really is a bed of roses and you had better look out for the thorns.
Here's to a pain free day for all of you! I hope that day comes sooner than we think it will.
Hugs,

Mariellen, Sorry to hear you feel so bad. But you have to take the meds. Sometimes, it is really hard to get things under control and their attempts can drive you crazy. I'm originally from NM. What part do you live in? I grew up in Portales. Dear Deanna, Thanks for the encouragement. I live in Las Cruces. Have been here for about 5 years this time. Originally came from Texas in 1962 and stayed for 30 years. Then went to Ruidoso to teach school and then on further north to Pecos and taught in Santa Fe. Las Cruces is a great place to live. Where do you live now? Mariellen in NM Land of Enchantment
