I'm new to the group, so I'll tell you a bit about myself. I'm 51 ,have ra, oa, and also osteosporosis. Was diagnosed in 2003, although it is expected I may have had ra for quite some time and that it just got really aggressive after I'd had a double bunionectomy. My first year was awful, I thought the pain would disable me within 6 months. My rhuemy kept trying different combinations of meds, and finally after a year, put me on remicade, which really made a difference, after a year, I went from 8weeks to 6weeks on remicade, and another year later, and still, I've started suffering again. He did a ccp on me, it was a strong positive, says heill keep me on my current meds, but may make changes in the future, plus he's put me on painpills, but they only helped for a month, this past week has been bad, I am so so so tired, even taking naps before I go to work, been feverish, and just really have the blas, you know? I get the juice tomorrow, and see the rhuemy a week later, so it'll probably get better. Would love to hear from anyone who's going through the same, and hope everyone has a good day.

Welcome Deb.  I can't relate to your difficulties because I am one of the fortunate ones who is responding well to the meds, but I wanted to say hello and let you know there are a lot of good folks here who have sympathetic ears and many who can relate.
