Haven't been around too much and on Sept. 14th, I'm having a total knee replacement. After the surgery, I won't be returning to my home. To all of my friends at AI, take care.

Marisa, please try to find some way to stay in touch. I hope the best for you. You are very special. Thanks for all the prayers and concern. I'm counting the days and trying to get things ready. It's hard as I have a major flare going.
I'm going to go to a rehab unit for a few days after my surgery and if I can sweet talk the staff into letting me use the internet, I'll get on the board.
I'm praying that this knee replacement will allow me to go back to walking and being able to bend the leg. Right now I can't bend it and if I do the pain will shoot from my knee up to the inner part of my thigh. If my cat sits on my lap, she has to sit a certain way as putting pressure on the top of the knee will cause it to hurt. I'm crying now half from the pain and the other half from all the nice things that you have said.
