I am in the different norm in treating arthritis. It flares that can trigger from any one joint, be it from toe, ankle, knee, chest bone, shoulder and spreads to others.

The wonderful aspect is the appropriate herbs take care of the whole episode of managing the disease flares until it subsides. Believe or not, I have more than 15years:

1. not taken any drug,

2. not consult a medical doctor,

3. understand the disease's behaviours and its symptoms of side effect,

4. no fear as the disease can be "tamed" and controlled,

5. reversed the severity and gradually improved the quality of life,

6. elevated energy level systematically and improved health generally,

7. no other illnesses except some athlete's foot, minor skin problems.

Arthritis is not that dreadful once there is a solution otherwise, everthing does not seem to work!!!

Only you can do it because you are going to make decision, to change the lifestyle, to find appropriate herbs for the disease, to eat natural foods selectively for elevating energy level etc..

Then your body can interact with the disease at each level of flare so as to gradually reduce its effectiveness of causing pain and progression, making it manageable.

It is so simple brew the herbs/take the herbs, cook and eat healthily for better quality of life.

Hi kokako~ I have not been diagnosed with RA but do have arthritis~ my doctor has been giving me a hard time about getting tested for anything else, as she says it's "JUST" arthritis. At this point I almost feel as if I should fire her for not taking me more seriously. I am in such pain all over and after reading thru so many posts, I see everything I am going through reflected back at me. I think it's really nice that we can all learn from one another. Thanks to all!

My question specifically is about YOUR dealing with RA...you mentioned in your post that you are not on drugs, etc~~ sounds like what my husband and I are like. I don't like taking any kind of drug if there is some herbal concoction that will do. I'm very interested in learning more of what you do/use to help you through this. Currently the only thing I take that is non prescribed is a combo of Calcium/Magnesium & Zinc. I prefer to throw out the prescribed meds because #1~ they usually don't work on me anyway and #2 I'm concerned about the effects they all seem to have. Until I go to the Rhuemotologist, I am just one big bundle of RAW nerves pain-wise.

I appreciate your suggestions~

Wild lingzhi (Ganoderma Lucidum) is the main pillar to treat arthritis and many illnesses or side effects. Please note I refer to naturally grown Wild Lingzhi not commercially cultivated that are plenty and easily available in capsules or raw form.

To do anything rational you have to find this wild lingzhi to effectively address the pain and reduce the suffering before you can do anything sensible.

Wild lingzhi are scarce and it can be found in forested areas in Tibet and other countries. Each wild lingzhi is unique in shape, size, radiant texture, natural colour, solid and sturdy looking, taste little sweet.
