Just thought i would check in briefly and say hi and i hope you're all good today?  I went to doc's on friday for blood test results and other than a few that weren't back yet, they're looking good, i saw a different GP and he is lovely!!   I even discussed Billy and his knees with him and he's ok for me to take Billy to see him and discuss options.  I discussed the lack of sleep and the muscle pains and finally felt like there are people out there who care! The only thing i didn't discuss was the anxiety and major mood swings, but hey, there's always next time.

 We're having a great time away, spent yesterday in the sun watching the cricket! typically english i guess, but it was so nice. The only down side is that my body decided on friday to start a pretty drastic flare, not a lot thats not hurting, but with the support i got here at the mo, its not so hard to deal with.  I'm supposed to be having a nap while they're all out at the mo, so i guess i should do as i'm told! for once! Huge gentle hugs all round

I too have found this to be a great place of support.  It has helped me so much over the past couple of months.  Knowing there are people who truly understand and that are dealing with the same things as I am, really makes a difference.

Glad you're having fun, and sitting in the sun watching cricket sounds like fun to me.  Wish I was there, especially since I haven't seen much sun in weeks where I'm at.

Glad you found a good GP and hope you got a nap in! Hi Tori! I was going to make a post this morning to see how you are doing! I'm glad to hear that you found a doctor who is understanding, listens and cares. You deserve that! I'm sorry to hear that you are in the midst of a flare and I pray you feel better very soon. Getting out in the sun for some cricket-watching sounds like a good thing for you :) I hope you are feeling better soon. Love and warm, sunshiny hugs, Juliah

Tori;

I am so glad to hear you are doing well and found a gp you like.  I have a brother who would probably loved to sit and watch cricket with you.  He was stationed in England for awhile and his wife is a resident of England.  He favorite was rugby, and he was craz enough to play it while he was there.

Thats terrific news Tori. Finding a Dr. that you like and have some confidence in can be really hard. So maybe with the new Dr. things will look up for both you and Billy.

Enjoy your weekend.

Barb

Great news as well about the doctor.

Continue to enjoy yourself;

Lovie
