Let's all get a sign that says......

having a....

good day

ok day

bad day

and post it so our families can tell what kind of day we are having......

today mine would say

bad day!

My sign is my "good morning" - my family swears those two words and the way I say it lets them know what kinda day I am having.

However, maybe you could revise the signs to say,

"I would be having a better day if...." And then list what would make it easier that day. For me, what hurts varies so much that I would need a list as to what would make me feel better.

Or, maybe it could say, "You'll get a smile and a big hug from me today if you give me a massage, take out the trash, etc.

Sometimes, others don't know how to help us. We have to tell them very specifically. Then, when they do it, make them feel great about and let them off the hook for the rest of it.

Mine would have to be

Good Hour

Bad Hour

Whoa...get away while you still can or suffer the wrath that is mom Hour

2Many:Thanks for the hugs and good vibes......

I have been so frustrated the last few days have been "Bad Days"..I was diagnosed last Sept.and I feel worse now more than ever. I thought the minocycoline was working but now I have knee/hip pain which I never had before. Plus the big 40 birthday is coming up Tuesday.  I feel 80. My 13 year old son just came home from school and he has to be at school to ride in the homecoming parade with his football team and I can't even let him know if I can be there for it.

Deanna:  thanks for your advice about telling people want we want.

I really need to work on that> I have always done everything for myself and have a hard time asking for help. That's what I hate about RA ......

Crunchy: you crack me up!!!

I put a call into the Dr and see him tomorrow. So he gets to be the one to suffer my wrath!!!!

Wish me luck! I hope all your days are good!
