Carmel Apples & Mellowcreme Pumpkins!!!

Even though I cannot bite into the Carmel Apple because my mouth only opens so far and I cannot get a good chunk out of the apple, plus it hurts my jaw and sends a sharp pain into my ear drum. I get hubby to cut up the carmel apple for me, as I am not allowed to use any sharp objects anymore since my last incident where I jabbed the knife into my hand.

And all's I got's to say about the them candy corn pumkins aka Mellowcreme Pumpkins is MMMMmmmm MMMmmmm GOOD!!! I got me a bunch of bags of them, a stock pile! Now, I am going to go into hibernation with my carmel apples and pumpkin candy!! I am going to probably put on a pretty (ok ok not so pretty) 15lbs before the end of October is over LMAO!!

Here is to Halloween *takes a bite out of the diced up carmel apple and pops a half a pumpkin candy in to mouth*

CANDY CORN PUMPKINS!!! MMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmm..............

I wonder if I eat this whole 24oz bag of mellowcreme pumpkins tomorrow if they will hype me up enough to get the gumption to clean my house from top to bottom? or do ya'll think it will just put me into a sugar induced coma? or just a really really bad stummy ache?

lol yea i dont think thats a good idea joonie....we're the ones that have to put up with your hyperness...OHH WAIT no i work tomorrow night WOOOOHOO go right ahead!heheheeee.... yeah I will be bouncing off those pink padded rubber walls

When we get home we dump all of the candy in the middle of the livingroom floor and sort it. We eat while we sort....and then we put it in various candy dishes around the house..we stay sugered up untill the Christmas candy arrives.

My favorites are Sweet-Tarts and Reeses Peanut Butter Cups.

Oh, let me complete the sentance to...

The best thing about fall is cold nights and hot apple cider!

hot apple cider! Might have to find some of that and give it a whirl.HALLOWEEN!!!!  It's my favorite holiday of all, because you can be anything, anyone you want to be!

We hold a haunted house in our home on Halloween night, bringing trick-or-treaters through 3 rooms of our house, and  a haunted maze, and a haunted cemetery in our yard.  Each year we have a theme, come up with rigged set pieces to provide some frights, and costumes.  We use about 20 teenagers to help us pull it all off, and I can't tell you how happy they make me.  It's a tremendous amount of work, but it has come to mean so much to our family.  This will be our 14th year, and plans are already underway.  We usually have about 250 people come through, so I know there are a lot of other nuts who love Halloween too!

Hillhoney- you gotta check out www.HalloweenForum.com  It is best best halloween forum on the web.  I'm "Ickyvicki"!  Everyone is soo nice, and would love to hear about your haunted house.  Lots of great ideas too.

It's nice to get away from the RA once in a while!

emmasa0138973.2578125Thanks Emma - I jumped right over and registered.  Looks pretty interesting.  I'll have to spend longer looking around, and post some pics.  After doing this for 14 years, we are really in need of some new ideas, because we try not to repeat ourselves very often.   This website should be a good resource.  Thanks for sharing it!

It is nice to focus on something else.  I know I'm going to have to really pace myself and not procrastinate until the last minute so I won't be overwhelmed and unable to do what I need to do.  Hopefully if I can do a little bit every day I will be okay.
Powdered sugar donuts and apple cider - my mom's fall tradition. Here in Phoenix we are all looking forward to the High temp being less than 100.

The cool crisp chill of the autumn air, the color change of the leaves and the start of football season.Fall is my most favorite time of year. Makes me nostalgic for home-made costumes, carved pumpkins and autumn leaves. Unfortunately we skip fall here in Florida
