I am at home today I weeded three of my flower beds and trimmed the rose of sharon tree. Rachel has some friends over and the neighbor kids too. They are having a ball! The sun is shining high and bright and the neighborhood is filled with the squelling of delight and the laughter of the kids. I have come in since the sun is getting high I don't want to get a sunburn. The kids came in and they are watching a Series of Unfortunate Accidents. They are eating fresh popcorn and having koolaid while watching the movie. me I'm online but I am going to work on my needlework, afterwards. When hubby gets home we are going to grill outside and for dessert go and have a mug of fresh A&W Rootbeer. I love days like this!!! Happy Memorial Day!!!!! meme

But its a good Jealousy! I hope u and I both have more days like that, so I can take me 4 yr old nephew to the museums and amusment parks this summer. Definetly enjoy today tho. It is really hot today, but early evening I plan a nice walk with my dogs. I could use more days like this myself. ENJOY!!!!!
Especially you Meme. When I heard you had to work this weekend...after so much trouble with your feet on Friday I was worried about you but you sound great...and you've been in the garden!! I know how much you love this; and being a fellow gardener myself I can appreciate the days we're able to manage it. (Post some pictures of your garden and all your flowers. I'd LOVE to see it) And Roxy; you are so right sister. RA makes you appreciate the things you never appreciated before. Just one of the small blessings that goes along with this disease I suppose. Its a beautiful sunny day here and I have spent most of it outside in the yard with the dogs and hubby, vegging. I'm good at this. Theres been kids in the creek off and on all weekend. That water is cold, br-r-r-r-r-r-r-r. Straight off the mountain, melting snow. A lot of screams have been heard coming from the creek. All the flags in town are flying today, thats the nice part of living in a small town. The cemetery is all decked out with flowers and flags. Happy Memorial Day Everyone Barb

glad you are doing well. sounds like you've been keeping busy. Meme, I live in the far NE corner of Oregon. On the west side of the Snake River Gorge that separates OR from Idaho. In the Wallowa Valley at the foot of the Wallowas, part of the Blue Mts. Original home of the Chief Joseph band of the Nez Perce. Its sometimes called the Swiss Alps of the United States.
