Hello I am Trisho from Queensland in Australia. I have suffered from Lupus for over 17 years and RA for the last few years.
I have just started on Humira injections and I'm hoping this is the miracle I have been hoping for.
You all seem such a friendly, helpful bunch here so I look forward to getting to know you all :)
Take care and be kind to yourself!
G'day Trisho and welcome to the board. My name is Jesse and I was diagnosed with juvenile rheumatiod arthritis at 18 months old. I'm 29 years old now. I am kind of new to this website too. Only been on here for about a week or so, but have already met and talked to some very wonderful and understanding people. You can find a lot of helpful advice and support on here, but it's also a good place to just chat about whatever is on your mind.
So you are from Australia then? This is kind of ironic. My fiance and I were just talking last night how we have always wanted to visit australia and would maybe like to go there for our honeymoon. But we are both kind of afraid of flying, so... lol
So once again, welcome! Nice to meet you,
Jesse
Welcome, Trisho from the Sunshine State.
I'm an RA sufferer but no experience with Humira. You'll get good advice here, a number of the others are on it.
Good luck with the new drug. Des.
Hi Trisho! I'm also from Queensland! Great to see another Aussie onThanks for the warm welcome everyone..and so nice to see some other Aussies here as well.
I hope to see you all around the place as I pop in and out.
Take care :)

Hi Trisho
I'm new here and to the disease, in fact not yet diagnosed! Am from Canberra!! Turning 32 on Sunday. UGH!
I take salazopyrin and tetracycline.
Good luck I was up your way a at Christmas visiting my bofriends relatives, ironically before my joint problems started.
Welcome Trisho! The boards are a great place to make new friends and learn about medications and how to cope with our lovely lot of diseases
I live in Brisbane not too far from the centre of city, so am fortunate to have good access to docs, rheumys and any other medical attn. Wickham Terrace has been my stamping ground for 20+ years. MTX, Celebrex and placquenil 'cocktail' have helped to stabilise the RA but damage already done. The OA just keeps marching on. Don't seem to have Lupus - yet, anyway

Hi Trish, another Queenslander here, a Hervey Bayite if you know where that is. Welcome to the board, even if you can't type some days, you can always stop by just to read, great in the middle of the night if you can't sleep, best of luck, Janie. Hey Janie... have you joined RAsushi at all? At least three Aussies on
