And another newbie saying hello | Arthritis Information

Hi Folks,

I'm Jodi, age 46, from Bend, Oregon. Married to Scott for almost 27 years now. Two sons, Sean age 20 and Eric age 19, both of whom recently started college. Also 2 dogs, 3 cats, and a couple of aquariums.

My RA was diagnosed fairly recently, and I took my third dose of methotrexate this morning (and the first dose at the full now-15 mg level), and I'm feeling pretty "fuzzy" today. Hopefully it won't be as bad tomorrow. But today... well, I'm pretty sure I had a bath earlier, but I have no idea whether I put deodorant on afterward or not!

Looking forward to visiting with all of you. Appreciate this forum... glad to have found it!

Welcome Jodi. I just recently joined this board and really enjoy it so far. Lot's of info and support. I am actually 29 years old and was daignosed with JRA at 18 months old. I was on methotrexate for many years. Was taken off that 10 years ago or so. Don't remeber having any odd affects from it, or any of the many other meds I've taken in my life. Either way, I'm sure that with time you will get used to the meds you are on. Just try and take it easy until you adjust to it.

Take care,

Jesse
