Tips on talking about RA | Arthritis Information

Hi guys,
I just turned 14, and have been living with arthritis since i was 3. I have always wanted to help in someway, so this year there is a jingle bell walk for arthritis in december, and i am supposed to thank everyone for comming and talk about stuff. Only, i dont know what to say, so if any of you have ideas about what i could say, it would be VERY VERY VERY helpful! How long do you have to talk for? Is it like an open discussion, or are you more or less giving a speech? Def. look around at some of the topics and what people have written on here. There's a lot of things and you may be inspired if you just dig a little. :)It is true.  You will find more STUFF here than any other google probably

What an honor you have!  My advice - talk about what YOU know.  How it has affected your life, your family.  What you have experienced.  Maybe read up on some facts....there's some interesting ones out there.....effects on the workforce, economy, new and promising drugs.  You can get alot of info from www.arthritis.org or by calling your local chapter (which you can find there on line too).  Maybe get some help from an english or litererary teacher at school (maybe that could earn you some extra brownie points

Don't use someone else's words - use yours!  That's why you were picked....tell Marzapan's story!

Good Luck!  I'm sure you'll be awesome!  And please share your accomplishment with us!

Trixie
