Hi! Im new to the boards, and to enbrel as well. I have JRA and im 18. Im on Mtx and just 5mg prednisone, the mtx didnt help me but im staying on it for awhile more cause last week i started enbrel! Im really hopeful that enbrel will work, none of the other meds I have been on have helped me, at least in the last couple years, at one point nsaids worked but since i was around 14 or so nothing has been helping, I had a while were the doctors said nothing was wrong since my blood work looked normal and the meds were not helping, but i was still hurting! Anyway, im on the sureclick i took it for the first time last sat, since then ive been sort of sick I had a fever one day but now i feel fine i just have this obnoxoius cough that wont go away, I dont feel sick anymore! Is it ok to take the enbrel tomorrow? Thanks a lot!Hi
Best to check with your rhematologist. Sorry that you arent feeling well. I have been on enbrel for a month now and I too felt kinda fluy. From what I understand that is normal....
