remission after 2 years = never comes bac | Arthritis Information

I heard this and wanted to see if it was something that you had heard also...

Someone told me that if RA goes into remission in the first two years after
you get it there's a chance it will never come back. But if you have it after
two years you will always have it.

Is this a fact?? So strange.I've seen it written different ways. But that does seem to be the general theory. Then how do you know if its in remission for sure, and you are not just hurting from the initial outburst? Would this be med induced remission, or on its own? My blood tests say I have no inflammation, but now my feet are starting to hurt.
