I am experiencing joint pain in my ancles, knees and sometimes in my hip. Both sides are affected, but they usually never hurt at the same time. I only have pain while walking or when I use the joint thats bothering me. The pain is also "migrating" or "wanders" from joint to joint.
Just wondering if what I have sounds like arthritis....
I'm in the early stages of RA--after complaining of joint pain my GP found RF factor in my bloodwork. I went to a rheumatologist who ran a couple more tests and kind of gave me the brush-off with some NSAIDS. He said I didn't have any nodules yet. Stilldi.... Hopefully the appt on Tuesday is with a different
RD. Sounds like when he gave you the 'brush-off' because you
didn't have nodules, means he isn't too informed about RA... If
the pain is symmetrical and you have swelling and puffiness, especially
in the morning, he should be treating you with other drugs to stop the
progression. Keep a list of what you feel like, where the
pain is, how you are tolerating it, etc... and show him on
Tuesday. Good luck, and keep up the positive attitude.
It could be. I'd have a doctor check it out
