chest wall pain?? | Arthritis Information

I have very few symptoms since being on MTX except for this awful chest wall pain (on bone about 1 fist up from breast). Does anyone else have this?. Dr has ruled out heart, lung problems. When I have it I cannot concentrate on anything else. I know it may be costrachondritis but so few of you seem to complain about this.
One doctor said it may be due to having a positive ANA???

Wouldi appreciate any feedback.

I have costo and boy, does it hurt!!  I actually went to the er this past winter.  My chest started off just sort of tight and sore which progressed for several weeks.  Than, I had excruciating pain that dropped me to my knees crying.  I couldn't breath, every movement hurt.  Dx was costco, remedy, higher dose steroids and rest.  That was back in Feb, its now Sept and I still have pain there.  I haven't worn a bra because the pressure is too much.  They now say my sternum area is also inflamed.

The rheumy gave me lidoderm patches but I dont like the way they make me feel when used on my chest but they help my hands and feet.  The heating pad directly on my chest seems to help the most.

I have it too. It is really bad b/c I have asthma, and have been
having asthma problems more often since my RA flared up. My
sternum hurts, but the worst part for me is on my ribs, right
below my breats. I can no longer wear bras, even sports bras
and built-in tank bras hurt. I still have to wear something
though, b/c I could injure someone if I didn't
