I have lived with arthritis my entire life.  Only until recent has it became so bad that it is inhibiting my lifestyle.  Does anyone know of any new treatments that might be coming available?

Antibiotic Therapy.  Have you heard of that?  www.roadback.org

Something I found on antibiotics and the treatment of RA.

Q. How effective are antibiotics in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis?

A. The use of antibiotics in rheumatoid arthritis has a very checkered history and remains controversial. Antibiotics were originally considered (and used) with the notion that rheumatoid arthritis MIGHT be caused by an infection and thus treatment of the infection would then lead to improvement of the RA. It is important to recognize that there is NO convincing evidence linking RA to an infection. However, some people appeared to improve with antibiotic treatment. As far as I know, most of the current interest in antibiotic treatment of RA involves the use of tetracycline drugs, particularly minocyline, and a number of clinical studies have shown that the drug does improve joint pain, swelling and stiffness in rheumatoid arthritis. How it works isn’t exactly clear but it most likely has an effect on interfering with enzymes or other molecules responsible for joint inflammation and not because of any effect on infectious agents. I did antibiotic therapy for awhile, it helped me, my mom had notices that whenever I was on antibiotics for somthing else my joints felt better....so we tried it and for somthing like 8 months it worked....then we stopped cause my doc was worried about me gettin resitant

Minocin did nothing for me. No wait! It did give me heartburn.

Hi guys

I am using ebrel and can now walk without pain and have started to knit again after 10 years

I have used methotrexate and it helps a bit but embrel is by far the best

Statin drugs for RA is something they're working on now. Since statins are already broadly prescribed, it would be nice if they could do double duty.

estrutter, look into the topic "It Actually Works Naturally".

There is a solution but you have to make changes to adjust and modify so as to fit into this exercise. Improve is gradual according to the uplifting of your health level.
