Hi All-I'm so glad I found you all's message board.  I've been reading your posts for some time now and have decided to join in and get to know each and evey one of you.

I'm divorced (happily tho-20 yrs of abuse), 3 kids-son 15, 2 dghtrs 20 who has a 8 mth old and 34 has a 1 & 3 yr old=all girls.  I'm am  truly blessed for having them.  It's hard to keep up with the little ones but I try (even tho I hurt so bad the next day).

My neurosurgeon who did lumbar fusion/laminectomy w/ instrumentation end of 2004 says I have OA, DDD & neuropathies in my feet and legs (I get this unbearable burning in my feet so bad I can't put my feet to the floor and my lower legs burn & go numb at times).  My rheumatologist thinks I may have RA even tho the tests do not show it but I have bilateral joint pain, sacroiliitis & deformities in the joints of my hands and fingers.  My GP says I have FM & CFS. You figure!  ??????? LOL-  I don't know and don't really cae-all I know is I have constant pain every day.

I also am manic depressive.  So, if I appear to have 2 personalities in my posts, that's probably the reason.  I can be up for awhile, then bang, I hit the lowest point in my life.  It's very confusing and exhausting to me and my meds help some.  It doesn't keep me from loving life despite my disabilities and pain.

Sorry so long, I've been known to ramble-if I do, please let me know.

Well welcome to the club Ms. Donna :)

Hope you stick around, it really is a great place! I hang out here just to pass the time even...plus all the great info. And nobody minds when you have a bad day and you just have to vent. Everyone's always really nice about it. Matter of fact, I think I vented yesterday. But it's all good now! With all that you have, I really don't see why you wouldn't have RA as well. That kinda stuff all likes to ride together. If you're not feeling any better, I'd keep poking at the Doc until you found out the source and got it treated. The sooner, the better! Good luck to you! Hope to see you around! :)

Katie
