I woke up this morning in less pain but in so much better of a mood.  I slept with my hubby first time in weeks.  We have been so angry with each other.  It was great to cuddle.

I am sitting in my recliner with the broken foot rest - my weimeraner really believes he is a lapdog

There was a lot of breakage on move.  Antiques are so fragile and it got so hectic that I had no control.  Everyone just wanted that second truck loaded.  I talked a friend into taking off work to drive second truck - Kevin.  I have developed this deep love for this man.  Not romantic.  He was so concerned about my health.  I just kept taking percocets and loading right along with the guys.  We had to stop every 2 hours or less because I would get cramps and he was so patient.  THEN he stayed for two more days just to be sure that we got beds set up, etc.  He has called almost every day since we moved in to check on us.  There are some wonderful people in this world.

Then I have had long wonderful philosophical conversations with Brett's Aunt.  She is a doctor and we have become best buddies.  We talk for hours late at night, she is on the East coast.

Then there is my dear friend Deanna.  She has been the best.  She can always make me laugh at my situation.  I love you Deanna.

See ............things are looking up already.  What better place to look in the Fall but UP.  EVERYONE LOOK UP

Love you guys  Roxanne

roxy39008.3878009259How wonderful Roxy!  You see.... change is good!!  And the fall colors are extremely satisfying.. My favorite time of year.  Good times are coming.  You are seeing that!!  So happy you are in your new home and you have great friends around you.   Hi Roxy from another Roxy (that's what my friends call me too).  glad you are in your new place and it sounds like things are really looking UP for you.  I live in the country and love the fall colors and am an amateur photographer by heart.  I'm hoping when the Enbrel kicks in to go out on the Natches Trace and get some good pictures.  Today was my secound injection and I did it myself.  Hurrah!!!!!!! I do have a question for you, however.  I got my first injection last Wednesday and felt pretty good until yesterday.  I felt so bad I just stayed in bed most of the day.  Is that how it works, does it ware off before the next injection?   Does that question make sense?  Curious minds need to know!!!!

Hey Roxy, I love you too! You make me laugh at my problems too. What a beautiful sight to see. Find your camera and send me a picture. The trees barely change here in Phoenix. For years, I just didn't think we had seasons.

Rest hardy, my dear friend.

Rocxy, I don't know the answer to the Enbrel question. I've been on it a year and I think I've just been shooting water in my veins. It just doesn't work for me. But a lot of others have good experience on it. You might make it a separate post. You'll get a lot more info.

Roxy,

Your post is so inspirational.  I was beating myself up because I just got back from the doc with a dx of pneumonia and laryngitis (the kids and hubby are way too happy with the no voice thing) and was just at the doc Monday (I was feeling fine then) with hubby because he broke his toe.  Even when it seems like it is one thing after another you helped me to remember that things do and will get better.  I live where I can see the tree tops too.  Thank you for reminding me how beautiful fall can really be.

I am glad that you are doing better.  Even tho I haven't been posting here long, I read your posts and you seem like a very beautiful person.

Oh and I have a black Lab that thinks he is a lap dog too.  He won't leave me alone when I am sick or flare.  But hey, it is one way to keep warm on these cool fall days!

PEACE  to Roxy and Brett

Deanna,  Will call you soon.  I have got your messages but I am on phone constantly trying to get in to doctors for me and Kelsey.  Also, I was on phone for SS today.  They said I will have my decision by Dec. 10 - I am not getting my hopes up.

Marian - I am wishing for peace for Brett and Roxanne also.  I think our major challenge, at least for this month

Happy Fall to all and Deanna - I guess I will have to find a camera to send you pics. Thanks Roxy for the reply and you are right some is better than none.Hi Roxy...Cuddling is great medicine, keep it going, pass it on.
