I worked my butt off yesterday. Never stopped, from morning until night. I have been doing that a lot lately, working with the pain. But today, I am taking off.
I feel so satisfied. We finally got the livingroom cozy. We had my pride and joy armoire laying on the livingroom floor since we moved in. It had come apart at it's joints during move. I have told you guys many times I love antiques. All of my "spending money" would go to buy more antiques. Anyway, this was my favorite. It was built in 1903 and signed. All hand carved cherry and oak. It was huge, three doors and beveled mirror - original glass. Guess what - my husband took it apart at the joints - put it in gargage and I don't know if I will ever see it together again and I am fine. It was too huge for this house. I think I am going to sell it. I didn't think I would ever say that because I loved it so much but priorities have changed. Now my livingroom is so cozy. I finished about 10 pm last night. I have my huge picture window, lots of large houseplants that I moved from CA, two aquariums and my couch and recliner. Cannot forget my fireplace. It is so cozy. I now have a room I can relax in. DAY OFF DAY OFF DAY OFF
I was motivated because my niece was going to a party in Salem and called and asked if she could crash on the couch after party. She never showed but I am glad she asked because it really motivated me. I used to worry about her but she is in law school, very smart and reasonable. I am sure she found a place to stay closer to party. Hope I get to see her soon. None of my family has had a chance to come down since they helped us unload truck. I can't wait for them to see how it is turning out.
I am excited about starting physical therapy Monday and today - a day of rest. I am in a very good mood. Getting my Enbrel this morning. Thanks for letting me share you all. Roxy.. So happy you are happy today!!! I'm going for a manicure and pedicure today.... that's my treat!!!
Yay! It's so nice to see a happy post from you! :) Man when you're up you sure are UP! It's great. In fact..it's contagious.....!
