Hi - A newbie here. I've had RA for about 20 yrs and been on almost everything there is. currently on Enbrel, but keep getting sinus and U.R. infections, so the Dr has told me about Prosorba Therapy. If anyone has had it or knows someone who's gone through it, Please let me know how it has worked for you.......

Thank you so very much,

Bettylou

I'm not using it - but I read up on it - online.

Very interesting.....basically they clean your blood of the proteins that cause the problems in RA.

I wish you luck with it!!  Please keep us informed of how you are doing.

Bettylou,
I went through Prosorba Column therapy this year.  I too, have had RA for 20 years and was pretty much out of options.  I did not have the success that others have had with it, but I wouldn't discourage anyone from trying.  I will tell you that I flared significantly about 6 hours after the treatment.  The flares lasted about 24 hours and were really debilitating.  I don't think there is a "normal" reaction to the treatment, others have gotten extremely tired for a day or two, others expererienced stomach problems.  I recommend you have someone available to help you the day of and after your treatment until you know how your body will react.  Good luck, and keep posting to let us know if it is successful.
