I used to be on enbrel for almost over a year, than I started to get the following side effects
-mental illness (very anxious and paranoid)
-muscle spasm, chills and increase heart rate right after injections
-tingling in the legs/legs feeling heavy and aching
-irregular heart beats sometimes, out of the blue
-feeling sick,when exercising(want to throw up, and heart rate goes up very high)
I would phone the 1-800 enbrel, and they would tell me it had nothing to do with enbrel. When my docotor took me off, all the side effects went away within a week. Since, been off it for 6 months, I have never had any of the above side effects. But of course my RA is back, and very active. However, my mind is more at peace. HOw can I have both, I miss being on enbrel but it scared the crap out of me@!!

I truley think that in a few years ALL the biologics will be gone. After 4 months on it last years I'm still suffering side effects MS/ALS type. Go google and you will see more reports of problems with thesae drugs
