My sisters and I are from the old school where after marriage your middle inital comes from your madien name.. I havent used Eileen since I was 18..

Kathy, that's what I did also. I was glad to do it that way, because I felt sad losing my maiden name. It is important to me, and I am proud of my ancestry.

My mother-in-law is from the really old school, where women were not given a middle name, in anticipation that they would be using their maiden name as a middle name. I guess if you were one of those "rebels" and didn't get married you just came up short on names!

Oh my oldest niece she never had a middle name, her parents could not come up with one for her so she uses her madien name as her middle name now.

yep, my mom and my mil are both named that way. not me..I have a middle name...

KLB and KLJ my kids are HDJ and CGJ.

If I had initials that spelled something I would want...KEG, FAB, LUV, HOT, RUM or BRR

I'm divorced now but I'm still a BRA --my maiden name was long & Polish so I kept my married name -- I just don't get anything monogrammed.Before RJD

I use my maiden name before my husband's name. Only legally do I sign that way cuz' it takes too long to write.

I am TAZ...

No changes after marriage, at least not until we start making large co-ownership investments - then I'll likely make the name change. That would change my initials to TAD.
