GR After 2 weeks of no enbrel cause I was on antibiotics i was hurting so much...I thought that I was hurting on enbrel but this was much worse! Ive been on enbrel again for a week and although its not AS bad i still hurt so much! Im tired of hurting!!! I managed to get a stool for lab the last 2 weeks, thank goodness...Anyway just needed to complain and say that JRA sucks especially in college!!!!!!
UGH today one girl in a class of mine was complaining because she has to get blood work one a year!! ONCE A YEAR, thats nothing! I dont remember the last time I had that! blah I actually am trying out student health for my blood work for the frist time next week.
my shoulders have been hurting...and my skin too to touch. Ive been dx with fibro in the past but yea EW.
question? I have to worse pain ever on my scalp on the back and along the sides, its very intense burning it makes me actually say ouch out loud, Its awfull, my rheumy had no idea what it could be from but it happens at least once a week, and when it happens once in a day it ussually happens again, yesterday was particially bad, does this happen to anyone?
One good thing about being off your meds is it makes you appreciate them more.
In my experience; when I've been off, it takes a few weeks to catch back up. Hopefully you'll be back up to where you were soon.

I don't know what the scalp thing is but it almost sounds like something to do with the nerves.
I know what it is like to be off meds and feel cruddy. I just restarted meds after month and a half of none from being sick and I can tell the difference. It is going to take some time to catch up. Are you taking any steroids right now?
A little bit....ive been on prednisone since I started methotrexate, but Ive been just on 5mg for the past 4 months or so....... Maybe call doc to up the pred to give this flare a kick in the butt? Your mtx dose is the lowest one so maybe upping that too?yup we are upping the mtx, i started taking 7 pills a week a week ago, after blood work i go up to 8 pills......
