Ok, so yesterday I went to get my arm seen about, but not by my Medicaid dr, as I did not want to fool with her rude a$$, and she is like 30mins away and if I wanted to go to her hubby would have had to use his points to get off work early to take me and well that is more trouble than it is worth, so I go to the dr I have been going to off & on for years and just paid the damn co-pay... worth it since he is nice and does me right.
Anyways... He refers me to the bone dr, and I give them both insurance cards BC/BS & Medicaid. The receptionist calls medicaid to see what my co-pay is to be and then she finds out I have to be referred to them by my medicaid Dr in order for them to pick up what is left over from primary. Then I was telling the receptioinist about how my medicaid dr done me wrong and all and that they might not give me the referral. So, she called and they were "closed' and said to call back tomorrow.
Well, this morning I got up and called my Medicaid dr to get them to fax a referral to the bone dr, and they said they already sent it. So, I called to make sure and they did! YAY!!!
My getting screwed is taking a turn!
Now... to just get my Humira PA'ed and my referral to my RD in order and I will be set!
Oh and change my medicaid Dr, too... that will be a big +
