This story is too cute for all you animal lovers and a good idea. I know this would be good for me. Roxy, maybe this is part of your answer. You LOVE animals so much.

The web site is on FM. Worth checking out.

A great idea, Deanna.  Doesn't use electricity, generates heat and provides love and companionship - better than any heating pad or heat pack we could use!

Just out of curiosity, I checked to see if there is a rescue organization for this breed and there is, just in case anyone would really be interested in one of these dogs:

Since we're in Mexico for the next 6 months I'm going to go in search of a Xolo.  My curiousity is peaked.  I'll let you know if I find one and if it works for me.  I might just replace Stan as my bed partner.....you never know. When you're looking at the site, look at the greeting cards. They are so cute! I think I'm finally in love. Studies have also shown that dogs lower blood pressure too.  I know that when I am having a cruddy day my dog senses it and sticks by me.  For me, the companionship and the snuggling he does calms me and makes me feel better.
