The most fun part about taking methotrexate is trying to go grocery shopping afterwards and everything I look at makes me absolutely sick to my stomach.... Just looking at mozarella sticks made me cringe, honestlty.
Anybody else have "fun" times with their meds?

I take my MTX at night a couple hours before bed time. Jello goes down pretty easy when I'm ready for a snack....seems to settle my stomach some.
I haven't taken it early in the day in the 4 years that I've been on it.

I just cant take it anymore. What really bites is being on the steroids at the same time as the mtx....you are hungry but everything makes you want to toss your cookies!
So funny. I am lactose intollerant and just found out there is quite a bit of lactose in MTX. So a few hours a go I took it with my lactaids and we will see if this works.
My fun is you wait all week for the weekend and then you miss it because you are sleeping or sick!
I take my MTX about 4 pm on friday, have a very very lazy friday evening, but not nauseated in my sleep. most of saturday is quiet too. If I take it any later i wake up vomiting. ICK
I had a slice of toast with peanut butter on it last night. that felt good.
