This coming Monday will be 2 weeks I have not took my Humira
I did not take Humira last Monday as I had messed up my toe while on vacation... my nail ripped halfway off my nail bed and was bleeding, and hurt something fierce... LOL. So, when it got to shot day I opted not to take it since my nail is still attached and unsure of it, and RD is out of town until the first week of Dec... which I have an appt. with him the 13th of Dec. Oh... the weight of this splint-cast is taking a toll on my shoulder, yet another reason for the hacksaw
Whens the surgery? You might have to be off the Humira due to that too. Sometime this Thursday. I know... he asked me about my Humira and I told him I did not take it last Monday and he said good. So, I guess I am not to take it this Monday either, he did not say. Plus, my toenail is still on, but lifted up. I am a BIG Baby and afraid to rip it off, as it is only halfway lifted off the nail bed. I'am hoping for it to fall off by itself. How have you been doing, Lovie? have not been able to read up on you lately. Haven't been around much more than a few minutes here and there. I'm doing real good. Went through a rough spell a while back; but I'm up to speed and feeling better than I have in a long time. Busy with work; but feeling good. Doesn't the toenail snag on everything? I'd probable have to cut it back at least some if it's like I imagine you are describing. Be careful...that's the kind of thing that can lead to infection. Serious infections. Take special care with it. That is good that you are doing better. I hope you make it thru the rest of the year without mishap. I have been putting peroxide on it everyday. No, it does not snag anything, as it is still kinda laying down. It does not hurt anymore, but it feels funny... kinda like no nail there, but it is there. It is weird.
