Not RA related but wanted to share | Arthritis Information

Guess what hubby has done tonight? Ok stop guessing you will never guess....lol

He "cleaned" the house or should I say straighted it up.

Do not know why he is but he is and is still "cleaning" as I type. I think he has been bit by a cleaning bug...lol. He has not done any major cleaning, like mopping, sweeping, washing dishes, or vaccumming. But he is getting all the clutter under control.

Oh well, happy he is doing it. Not complaining just wanted to share my amazement...lol.

lol just enjoy it ! Thats great hehehe  how cool, send him over here when he's done with your place, cluttered to the max right now!

What do you mean, that your post was not arthritis related?  I see a direct connection.  Here we are, sometimes unable to move and a hubby tries to make our life a little easier by volunteering to clean house?  You bet that's arthritis related.  Not only that, but a miracle, and a blessing so great that a halo should be awarded to the man.

Bless him and lucky you!

Janis

Awesome Joonie. Take what you can get Sweetie...every little bit helps. He's showing effort; that goes a long way in my book!!

Yippeeee!!!   Give him lots of praise!  Oh, sorry - I'm training a puppy these days, so that's what comes to mind

zzoi

That is wonderful!!!!!!

Thanks for the replies...lol.

zzoi - Yes, he does need praise....that is why before we went to sleep I told him thank you and did not even ask why he cleaned up. But I did ask why he left somethings in the floor in front of the couch, only becaused I stepped on them on my way to the bedroom.

Islandwoman - To me it did not seem RA related. Because I can pick up after them...sometimes, but I choose not to. I want hubby and daughter to start picking up after themselves...instead of depending on me. But you are right it is RA related.

Ok another story to share...lol. I would have posted this earlier but I forgot and also did not want hubby to know I was letting the "whole world" know of this lol.

You know how I say I was put on earth to help make hubby more compassinate and better behavied. Well, here is a good example of that.

When hubby use to work on the 2nd shift. I would call him up and tell him I was out of tampons and ask if he could pick some up on the way home, which was 11pm at night. And he would freak out and tell me he would never do that. I tried for years and years to get him to buy me some.

That weekend I got over zealous and decided not to take my pred and was hurting and stiff and stuck in bed, I told him I was almost out and he said "Ok, me, Marybeth & andrew will go to Wal-Mart and get you some since we need spoons too." I thought I was hallucinating, that taking the 2 Tylenal Athritis done something to me. So, I asked "Are you sure?! You said you would never buy any by yourself." And he said "Well, you need them and you can't get out of bed. Besides that is the wonders of self-checkout."

So, when he came back and he showed me he got them; I said "Are you sure you went and got them and not your mother?" He said "Ask MaryBeth who bought them."

LOL I did not ask her, I was even more amazed, because he got a pink box, when he could have gotten the blue box...lol. But I was proud of him for stepping up and realizing that men do not use tampons and people know you are buying them for a woman!! He is slowly becoming not so childish.

Sorry to the guys who read this....lol....just wanted to share, and show how proud of him I am lol.

WOW!  My husbands idea of cleaning the house is getting the kids to do it......lol

Sit back, relax and enjoy :)

Jooniper,
My hubby is sweet like that too.  He helps with the cleaning but it usually does take nagging.  And last month he went to the store for me....then went back when he bought the wrong thing.  I kinda felt bad for sending him back...but the cashier said you're a rare man to him and he likes lots of praise.

Zzoi...wouldn't you say my hubby can be puppy like?  Since you're training one...and you know hubby.....whatcha think?
hugs, wayney

awww man wayney....I was lucky to get that first box...let alone tell him they were the wrong ones and send him back...LMAO. I really would have to use hubbies socks...LMAO. He would probably rather give up his socks then get sent back...lmao...it is a lil phrase I tell him when I need to go to town to get some and he decides to get his "I do not feel like going to town attitude"...I tell him well then I will just use your socks...he has a thing about his socks...lol.

That's hillarious Joonie about the tampons.

I've been in menopause since my husband and I got married....but he's the type of man that would do it without complaints.

Sounds like your husband is turning over a new left girlfriend....go with it!!

Thats GREAT!!!Mine is cooking dinner as I type. S
