Hey why dont yall go over to the chat room? BTW....someone took my name...so if you see a crunchy...it is NOT me! but I am there...I went over last night but I was all alone! Plus, my hubby left the
charger for his good laptop at his parents house so his dad is
mailing it. Now I have to use the ole Mac laptop that bombs if I
am trying to get on a modern website. I could go upstairs and
use the desktop, but that would require me to go UPSTAIRS!!!
I can't get in. It won't complete loading, it just locks up on me. I can see the names of people in the room, but I can see what is being said by anyone!
What is the url. I went there last night, no one was there. I could use a morning chat.Where is the chat room located? I searched around for it, but couldn't find it.Here is the link, but I don't think it is operational right now. Give it a shot and see what happens. It shows that I am in there as Hillhoney and as Karen, but I'm not, and I couldn't seem to communicate with anyone else when I tried, both through Explorer and Firefox.

Karen, firefox seems to be having some new issues with Java, so try not to use it....we're working on that one. We have a new server, and it should work wonderfully through Explorer. Sorry for all the hassle. We've never done this before! LoL
Thanks Katie - we really appreciate what you and Justin are doing for us! It will be a great addition when we can get it up and rolling.
I'm still having trouble, even with Explorer. Is anyone else or am I doing something wrong? I have signed in 3 times and had to use 3 different names, because it never logs me out from previous attempts, so I show up as being there when I am not. I suspect the other names I see there are also not actually present, since I can't get a response from anyone. Either that, or they can't actually "hear" me when I "speak"!

LOL. I think I had 3 names in there at one point. I wasn't online after this morning because my granddaughter was here. Justin will work it out. The matrix will help him lol. Once this gets up and running I think it will be a blast!alright, it's all up and running just fine.
if you were using the chat service thru Katie's site, that one is the old broken one, she didn't change it. it's changed now.

the user RA-MOD is there to protect the channel from spammers and flooders.
there is no need to register as there isn't a nickserv on the new server.
when you close your chat window, it will log you out, so the old problem of leaving your name in the room isn't a problem anymore.
the use of colours is only available if you use a client. (mIRC, Trillian)

Katie wants me to make a SIMPLE easy to use client program for this, which I don't mind doing, but I'm gonna wait to see if the room gets used enough before I start on it.
