hi to everyone ! has anyone experienced numbness in their little finger and ring finger also a tingling feeling.( not carpal tunnel) i had an xray of the neck yesterday and awaiting the results but the hand has worsened overnight and i now have very little movement and the veins on my hand are bulging. I just started having that yesterday. My pinkie on my left hand
has been tingling constantly. I think mine might be from my
wrist, though, because it has been bothering me. My neck has
also been bothering me a lot this week. Let me know what you
find out!
That happens to me when I type too much or crochet too much. Sometimes at night I wake up with the numbness and tingling too. But I do sleep with one hand tucked under my pillow. I see my GP today and I am going to ask him about it and will let you know what he says. The had me use wrist splints at night to help with the numbness. But definitely get checked out fully. I see the neurologist tomorrow and I'm bringing it up again. I posted about this a few weeks back. Google ulnar nerve, it can be pinched in your wrist, elbow or neck and causes numbess in your pinkie and ring fingers. I found wearing a splint for a couple of weeks and letting it rest really helped.
I went to the doc this morning and he said that the numbness and tingling is probably RA related since RA can affect the nerves and tendons as well. He wants to get my flare under control and if the numbness and tingling persist then we are going to look at it further.
I have that too, am going to physical therapy for it. I think mines pinched in my elbow. Physical therapy is definately helping.
