Time to make sure those life insurance policies you have on ME are all paid up.

I will try to get online Friday or Saturday or Sunday ... if you do not hear anything from me by Sunday... I suggest you cash that life insurnace policy you have on me in

But really... I do not do well with pain meds they tend to do a sleepy number on me... and according to my mommy I will be needing those a lot for the pain I will inccur after the surgery.

Hey... maybe I will be a fun, goofy, happy pain pill taker

Well just make sure to let us know as soon as you can. We'll be thinking of you. Ya goober. You'll be fine, just sleep it off! the pain killers also make you think people are psycho killers.   Oh wait you were probably right with that one

yea but joonie i dont think you were delusional on that one.  i think that was just the truth comming out while you were hyped up on drugs LMAO

Oh and made me paranoid

Yeah, could have channeled the truth while hyped up on lortab-10

Well Joonie, the good news is, with enough pain pills, you won't remember much about the pain!  It will just be a fuzzy blur and then people can tell you about all the funny things you said!

Best wishes to you Joonie.  I hope it turns out to be quick and easy.  With someone with as high a pain tolerance as you (walking around all this time with a broken elbow) you should make a quick recovery.  Just leave the cast on!

you saw those emails it was totally the truth

anyways in all seriousness good luck tomorrow with your surgery,  everything will be fine.

Joonie, Thinking about you for your surgery tomorrow. You're going to do fine. So long as you don't sit straight up and try to rip the instruments from the doctor's hands. (Thinking of you ripping that cast right off with your bare teeth -- or was it hubby's bare teeth? -- earlier this week.)

Consider looking forward to those pain pills. Used to hate em myself until they gave me good stuff for surgery and now I say those pain pills--shots are even better, truly--are our friends. We all need a little something in life to look forward to.

You won't be going into surgery alone. It'll be a crowded room with all your friends in there cheering for you.

Best wishes to you and I will be thinking of you tomorrow.

Thanks Joonie for all the support you have given me lately.  I appreciate it!

Hugs to you Joonie.

May you have a speedy recovery and a perfectly healed elbow.

Try not to worry - you have been through worse. When I had elbow surgery in 98 I was just taking an nsaid during the day by the 3rd day and 1 darvocet at night. I do admit the pain pill at night was more about trying to get some sleep with a splint on than actual pain! It really was easy.

Tell your DH that you get to sleep on the outside of the bed and he still has to take care of the alarm clock!
