One time we left our christmas tree up for 9 months and took it down like 3 months before christmas and put it back up and left it up for about 6 months that time, as in-laws were harping about it still being up. What?! Can someone not like their tree that much to have it up year round... ok... ok... me & hubby just did not feel like taking it down
I had a 3 foot tree that I put up for one day in July one year. I turned the ac down low, me and the kids and my neice put up the tree, played christmas music, and baked cookies and hot cocoa. Here, where the summer days get too hot for little kids to spend alot of time out doors, this was a way to beat the summertime blues! We even wrapped their own toys and then "gave" them to each other. It was alot of fun and something I will never forget. Has anyone besides me seen those annoying commercials for Head-On?
