So, I saw my rheumy today and overall she was pleased with my progress. My hands "almost" look normal she said, compared to huge balloons last month. We are increasing the mtx injections, I'll be doing 70 instead of 50 in the syringe, which I believe is equivalent to about 18-20mg.
I asked her about my hands shaking so bad. She said it was most likely from decreasing the prednisione. I have been on it since May and was recently on 30mg for several weeks. I'm down to 6 mg right now and she said that drop in steroid is probably causing the shakes and it should go away in a couple of months when my body levels off. I remember seeing several others complain about shaking so thought I would past that along!
