Now you know I have a bad headache, I posted this in the wrong place at first. geeze....my head is killing me, so why am I online you ask? Cause I am trying to distract myself....and because I am hoping that someone here knows a magical trick to get rid of these things cause pain meds havent helped. There are not many times I consider the ER for things, but if this doesnt let up soon....I am gonna have to get help. Only thing that helped my mom was to go the ER to get a shot of Toradol....   or Demerol when she got them that bad.  Crunchy, sorry to hear your feeling icky!!! My migraines are not photosensitive except for all around light. Noise is my thing...I can tolerate the TV on low depending what it is. I have my friends little girl over to spend the night so I cant take anything too strong untill the kids go to sleep or my husband gets home. Which will be in...um...hours and hours from now.

Crunchy, I feel so bad for anyone that is suffering any type of headache.I
am taking nadolol, a beta blocker. I took it along with elavil for a while
but skipped out on the elavil when i gained 65 lbs. The nadolol works
great by itself. Let me know. Lori

I get mgraines too. Usually I can knock a mild one out with a Tylenol severe allergy sinus headache  tables.  But not long ago I had to go to the ER for a shot.

They are  very nice here, take you into a dark quiet room and in no time come in with a shot of pain killer and phenagren. ahhhhhhhhh bliss. I can't take Imatrex, it makes the migraines worse.
