I just realized the website we started for the program I founded is still on the internet.  Check out the fun stuff I used to do - sorry - feeling nostalgic. www.kidsandcreeks.org roxy39043.4901157407Geez Roxy, what haven't you done?  You have had a wonderful life Roxy, but I guess you know that.  I am certain that we are all greatful to you for sharing it with us and I hope there is more to come.

Thanks Roxy and you and Kelsey have a great time at your brother's tomorrow and be careful driving!
Roxy,
I can see how you would be missing this.
I love the outdoors. Even though I am from the midwest, when I was growing up my Dad would wake us up in the middle of the night to announce we were all going on vacation. Off we would go to places like yellowstone Park ( Camping) , The Black hills ( Camping)  My mother was always begging for a motel. I had 2 sisters, no brothers. Us girls loved it.
My Dad lived in Alaska for 4 years during the 2nd world war and always talked about going back. Sorry to say Dad never made it.

Back then camping was free. And wild animals were everywhere. A few  times we had to sleep in the station wagon because brown bears were raiding camps.

I  feel so blessed to have lived at a time like that.
It was back in the 1050's Yep, I love the outdoors too.

My hubby would be looking for the nearest hotel.

I dont know why I,m blabbing like this. I guess I know how attached you are to the outdoors and I'm reminising  ( spelled wrong) .  Glad you can live in such a beautiful area. Have a great Holiday.
Barb
