I am new to this site and was diagnosed with polymyalgia rheumatica just today.  I am married to my best friend ever (for 35 years) and don't know how I would get through life without him.  Two grown children, and two grandchildren.  I am so glad to know what this pain is all about because I am getting ready to retire next spring.  RV travelling in pain would NOT be fun at all.

I'm happy to have found you and looking forward to help and reassurances.

I'm also new.  Just wanted to wish you good luck on your future retirement and don't let the pain keep you from RV traveling.  I've found that as long as I'm in a larger vehicle, SUV, RV ...I do pretty good.  the way I look at it If I'm going to be in pain at home why not go somewhere different.  who knows it may ease the pain seeing and going someplace I've never been.  At least it has for me.  It seems that traveling gets my mind off the pain and of course we take our time.  We start out mid morning and stop in the mid afternoon.

Have fun and nice to meet you.

Hello, all! I have RA and AS....Enbrel great for me! But when I got an infected finger; had two surgeries, 5 days in hospital; and still fighting infection after almost 3 months; had to go off Enbrel until infection clears up; it works great for me; took away pain; and gave me more mobility. I was always afraid of it; but got so bad that I had to do something....Now been off almost 3 months because of infection; Im so much worse..pain and stiffness so much worse than before I started the Enbrel....will go back on it after ifection is cleared up....body really has a hard time fighting it....Good luck all....Glad to have found this site to share and read about fellow sufferers...I am new to this site and still trying to figure out exactly what is wrong I will take all the help I can get. I have Leiden's Factor V and deal w/ pain in my arms and legs constantly. I am taking naproxen, ultram and lortab for the pain but they just don't know what is wrong
