I was on my 2nd dose of MTX injections. And I got so sick vomiting couldn't stay out of bathroom. Weak and in serve pain. I was worse off with mtx believe me. I called my rhemy right away and he said do not take anymore injection. That I was in a serve reaction from it. He started me back on preisone right away. My body felt like it was being torn apart piece by piece. I was screaming for 2 hours with pain. I didn't know what way to turn. Also when I went to bathroom I started to bleed really bright blood . Has that happend to any one here. Bless all of you that can take the meds for RA. it looks like I am to the end now. I am allgeric. to everything in sight. I am so upset. If I didn't have surport I would be in alot of trouble. My husband trys to help as much as he can. But he holds doen 2 jobs besides he plays in a band for years. Bless him to. I hope all of you get the help that you need and you can take the meds to help. Joan

Are you in that amount of pain and bleeding now? Have you been to the doctor or ER since that pain and bleeding you describe? If not, leave NOW and go to the ER. Don't wait. Just go. This is not right at all.
Call the doctor back and tell him about the blood. It may be that you have an ulcer or something that just got irritated by the MTX. I'm so sorry that this medicine did this to you.
He might also be able to suggest something to calm your system down. Did he suggest Benyadrl or anything else? If it gets any worse, please just go to the ER.
I hope this passes quickly and they find something that works without all this ugliness.
I am so sorry hunny this did not work out for you. I was so hoping that it would. The 25mg is a very high dose and I am surprised that they started you out that high.
There are some new meds coming out in 2007. I hope and pray that one of those will work for you.
