Blizzard!!! | Arthritis Information

All that snow that I wanted has finally arrived!  Our school district is having it's first snow day in 10 years.  The city offices are also closed.  We are unsure at this point whether or not they are going to run 2nd shift where my husband works.  A lot of the guys do not live in the area and the highway right now is impassable.  Hubby will probably try to go in since we do have a 4x4.  His normal 10 minute drive will probably take 45 or so this afternoon.  The snow is supposed to taper off around 1pm.

The dog....omg...the dog is hilarious.  Our youngest daughter has been out with him already to play in the snow.  He tunnels thru it, rolls in it, tries to catch the snowballs you throw at him, loves to have snow dumped on him.  He is a nut!

I slipped on the wet floor this morning.  I am fine.  My wrist bruised a little since I broke my fall with my hands like a dummy lol.  I will ice it and rest it.  So, everyone in the snow and rain area please be careful on wet floors!!!

All I have to say is:  4x4 4x4 4x4 4x4 4x4 4x4 4x4!!!!!!!!  I'm so excited!!!!!

I want snow!!!! I hope it snows when I am in PA over Christmas.
Pack some in dry ice and ship it to me!WOMAN!! No falling!!! LoL I'm glad you got your snow. I'll have to call mom and see how much snow they got! Have fun and be careful!
Gramma..we must live in the same area!  Started out to work this morning and turned around and came back!!  Couldn't see a thing..cars everywhere.I'm in Michigan and I heard its coming my way!  You can keep it though!

But we make up for in the summers with temps from 115 to 122. They don't even let the planes fly at 122. What were my two millionaire bosses doing that day? Out golfing. Yes, they had fried their brains.

Be careful. No more falling.

Our street is finally being plowed and the snow is slowly tapering off.  We are still under a blizzard warning until 2pm.  We just found out that they are scheduling 2nd shift to work.  Most of the guys will probably not make it in.  One of our friends in Racine can't get out of his subdivision.  Most of the guys on 2nd shift live down in the Racine/Kenosha area and won't be able to make it.  One guy drives in from Rockford IL everyday. Hopefully a short night for Danny tonight!

Like Deanna said, what is snow? The only snow we get in Southern Ca. is in the higher elevations. It's been cold here and they posted freeze warnings for last night/early AM.

Blizzards are no fun and I can remember driving home with my head stuck out the window trying to keep my windsheid clear. Plus several times I would follow the tire tracks in front of me. NO, I don't miss it!!!

Everybody, who lives in snow country, please stay safe, warm, and dry. Enjoy playing in the snow with your kids or pets.

Yippee you got your snow!!!

Yuck snow! Glad you're enjoying it! The blizzard is over and here is the official totals for the area I live in.  Milwaukee (where I live) 10.1 inches...Kenosha 17.0 inches...and Racine 14.5 inches.

Danny made it into work and had to 4x4 it the whole way.  Took him about 35 minutes.  He was early and him and a friend were doing donuts in their parking lot!  I'm jealous.  He has to work all weekend but is going to take me out for 4x4 fun before he goes in tomorrow.

I'm in Menomonee Falls..fun day, huh??

YAY!!!!  Another cheeeeeeeeeeesehead!!!  I'm no longer lonely!!!Gramma.... enjoy 4x4'ing!!  I also live where it snows...  in the So. Ca. mountains and when we get it, I love it...  However, this year, when it does get here, I'll have to just look at it and not shovel.    It's been very cold and 2 nights ago I turned off my heater in the house and slept with the slider open a couple of inches.... well... I woke up and it was 39 degrees in the bedroom!!  Yikes, now I know why my face was cold all night long... the rest of me was as snug as a bug in a rug!!

I am in Michigan we got mainly the ice and just a tad of snow. THe neighbor kids made a snowman this morning but other than that it was just ice. The paper stated this A/M that Battle Creek was without power, our lights just flickered a few times. IT is quite cold but clear this morning.

I took my daughter to her bfriends yesterday A/M after we washed her clothes so that she would have a better chance of getting into work in case it snowed really heavy. Other than that, I am staying warm and cozy catching up on the laundry and redoing my daughters' room, she is weary of all the junk..amazingly! So far we are all healthy and keeping snug and thankful we have electricity this morning.
