There has been some inspiring poetry posted here which made me think some members might like to write a fun poem for Christams to share. Here's a light confection, doggeral almost, to get the ball rolling -

"It's Christmas time on the forum,

merry Christmasses abound,

there's joy and love in each greeting,

for goodwill is going around.

It's Christmas time on the forum,

hearts all a shine and a glow

thanks to those who have helped us,

if only our troubles would go."

O what comfrot this site has brought me,

I no longer hold in the pain;

Instead I share it with others,

Who understand the meaning of 'no pain no gain'

Oh Silent Night

By Alan Duncan

Oh Silent Night, that cast a spell,

A dark shadow where spirits dwell,

Oh Holy Night, light shining bright,

Extinguishing my churning fright.

Oh Silent Night, a promise kept

By angels singing while I slept,

Oh Holy Night, to visit Earth

Enshrouded by miraculous birth.

Oh Silent Night, a savior born

My heart from turmoil torn,

Oh Holy Night, received by grace

To make my heart a sacred place.

Oh Silent Night, a Christmas song

A transformation, weak to strong,

Oh Holy Night, a manger bare

Into the world a sovereign care.

I hope this Christmas season brings you joy and peace...and a spiritual awakening to your purpose in life.

Alan
