Oh boy what a morning! My cat had her leg amputated last week after being hit by a car and isnt allowed outside, she decided to escape through an open window this morning while i was trying ( it was very trying) to put up the christmas lights. I managed to get her back in but she kind of ran back out the front door.I went to get her and the door slammed behind me.OPPS!! NO KEYS . Luckily my neighbours were just coming in and the husband offered to get his ladder and put it over the back fence( back door was open) but my darling retriever wouldnt let him over, so i had to climb up the ladder over the 6ft fence( this is one for candid camera) and put the ladder down the other side. Well i made it but I am paying for it now. The swelling is unbelievable but the cat is curled up in front of the fire safe and sound. Think my physio is going to go mad but where there is a will theres a way. Oh geeze what a morning!!  You should curl up with the cat by the fire with a big mug of hot cocoa with whipped cream on top!  You deserve it!

Taken your advice, even put chocolate sprinkles on top of the whipped cream.......only problem is i cant pick the cup up........put have borrowed the kids long twirley straw.

Ack!  Silly kitty!  I hope it doesn't take you too long to recover!Baaaaaad kitty!!!  I'm sorry but I know about those darn cats. Ours are escape artists and sometimes lead us on a merry chase.

Pin Cushion,  Sounds like me and my dogs.  They are loves but they scheme together.  Tyler always obeyed us but now with Abby, he must think, well she will get in trouble too and it is so much fun to have a partner in crime.

I am glad you are all right.  I would be nervous climbing a ladder.  Well at least you know that your three legged cat has not problem getting around LMAO I hate to say it, but this is why I love cats. At the very least, you got one GREAT story to tell people out of it. Sorry you're sore though :( That's the sucky part, I know. Rest up and try not to blame the cat too much.  Ohhh, poor kitty!!!! It is a great story to tell though.

*hands over hot chocolate chip cookies and a cup of hot cocoa*

I still have some lopsided truffles....want some? *giggle*

Oh, the poor bad kitty!! She just wanted to give you some fresh air! I'm glad that she is feeling better but poor you!!! That's some story and I hope that she doesn't do it again and when you open the door, have your keys with you or unlock the door so you can get back in. Ladders and RA don't mix well.

I have 2 cats and they are indoors cats. Every once in a while my Marisa will sneak out and I have to go catch her before she gets to far. The other one, Amanda, knows better and if she does try to escape I just have to tell her to get back inside as she's a indoor cat.

I love lopsided truffles, squashed truffles !oh just truffles of any kind.

Am sure the cat is laughing at me.....
