On waiting around to gross out my RD tomorrow with my armpit. They
DOUBLED in size from Sat night to yesterday morning. So, I be-bopped
over to the urgent care. They swabbed it, and are going to culture it.
OMG, it hurts SO MUCH!!!! The Er Doc was like "oh, I'll give you some
vicodin". I'm thinking. "hahaha...that doesn't do squat for me...but
I'll take it if you're offering" (no, I didn't ask). Yup, doesn't do
anything....woah. I can't decide which hurts worse today...the packing
in my armpit or my joints...it's really a toss-up.
But I see the RD tomorrow, and DH DID take pictures before I left
yesterday, and we're gonna print them out tonight for me to take with
me.
Do y'all still want to see this?? It's REALLY disgusting, but I will post pics if you want. heh.
Oh....the Doc didn't think it was MRSA (sp?), but he did mention it. He
thinks that I got them again because the antibiotics my PCP gave me
when I had the last one drained weren't strong enough. (I'm allergic to
Sulfa and Pen....so my choices are really limited) *crosses fingers*
DO IT DO IT! WHERE ARE THE PICS?!?!? Hahaha you KNOW we're not right in the head!! Glad you decided to get it checked out tho...you never know what that crap is!!!

Whats wrong with your armpits, did I miss something? And, of course we want pictures!Have you tried putting really warm compresses on it? That usually helps me with similar things for me.

They were ROCK hard. But they don't look like that anymore. They are
now oozing green/yellow goo and packed with antibiotics and sterile
junk that smells like medicine (is it wierd that I LIKE the smell??
hahaha)
THey were like abcesses I guess. The Dr said they could have been from
an ingrown hair, so if I wanted to prevent them I could quit shaving.
Um, no thanks. I'll deal with getting abcesses drained every so often
over hairy armpits ANYDAY!!! The Nurse was HILARIOUS...she said she
loves to see things like that get popped or drained....I told her she
was funny but nuts.
I wish my co-pay to go to the urgent care wasn't ...I'd go to them
for everything. It's the NICEST Drs office I have EVER been in, and the
Drs and nurses are fantastic. (I've had a finger drained there, and we
took my daughter there the night she broker her collarbone)
DO you guys want pictures of the oozing now too?! I don't know if I can
get DH to take them....and I don't think I can do it myself. lol.

Ewwwwwwwwwww that is soooooooooooo cool. My bet is that they were NOT from an ingrown hair though. I get those and they don't pop up that fast. I don't know what it is, but when you find out we GOTTA know. I like adding things to my library of medical thingies that I've actually SEEN. LMAO

OKay, when I change the bandage next I'll tr to take a picture for you
freaks. *giggle* I would go do it now, but I just changed the bandage a
couple hours ago, and it's SUPER painful to pull it off again. If only
I could have like permanant lidocaine there for a couple days. THAT
would be cool.
Hmmm, I do have the topical lidocaine cream....I wonder if that would
work. I hate to waste it though. (I use it for waxing.....because I'm a
big chicken)

NOT take any pictures of it when he gets home....any pictures, I had to
do it on my own. So, it's not THAT great as my hands are in AGONY

iodine from when they washed it yesterday, and there's packing sticking
out. I can't get it wet until they remove the packing tomorrow.)
DH says y'all are really gross....but he's glad I found people that

I think it's just the pic. My hands were shaking, and I can't find the
other camera....soooo. heh. It may be the packing stuff they stuck in
there that you are seeing too....they are still red. Oh, plus the
lighting is really bad....lol. Bottom line...I take TERRIBLE
pictures!!!!!
