Ok... who gots me snow?

I do not want just cold weather... I want me snow!!

I have 10 inches of snow.  I suppose I can pack it in dry ice and ship some to you.  We are getting light snow right now as a matter of fact.

I would LOVE to see me some snow. I've seen it a total of maybe 3 times in my life...well, maybe less, depending on what you consider it to be 'snowing'. Ohhhh, the moon tonight is FULL!!! Actually it's the Full Cold Moon (of December)- Farmer's Almanac 2006. Happy snow days. Hopefully

It is suppose to get down to 23° tonight, we'll see!

My sister just called while she is walking between classes in
PA to brag about the snow. No snow here in GA.....I want to
move back up north for the winter!Got a dusting today for the 1st time....Im in Southern Ontario...will get a big dump after Xmas as usual. Yeah, snow is wonderful at the beginning of the season, especially around the holidays.  It  a glistening blanket of white covering all the ugly and creating a quiet, peaceful calm.

But around the middle of February, when it's piled everywhere, is a lovely shade of grey and frozen into rock hard mounds, it gets a little old.  When you have to go out early and the snow is piled all around and over your car, with a lovely layer of ice under it, it gets a little old.  When your car gets stuck in your driveway and you can't move it forward or back, it gets a little old.

So as with anything you take the bad with the good, I guess!

No snow in southern England uk either.unusually warm in fact.

Got just a dusting here but the roads were icy last night.  My 30 minute drive home took an hour and 15 minutes!

Jeanne

no snow yet, although, we had a severe ice storm last week....in an ice watch, closed schools, companies, all that fun stuff. its melting away now....its suppose to snow later this week though.

No snow in Phoenix

But then it never quite feels like Christmas here eitherI live in Montana and we have lots of snow. I'd be glad to ship it to anyone
who wants it. I could probably get it there for xmas. Just got 23" here in PA. RASara82, does your sister go to a school in northwest PA?Nature Girl.
She goes to Shippensburg University, so the mountains tend
to block a lot of the snow from there. It wasn't snowing a lot, just
a squall, but I was still jealous. Is that 23" lake effect snow? My
dad called me yesterday to say they got some snow in the
morning. My parents live in Carlisle. Not much snow here yet, but, oh the ice! Has a terrible ice storm last week, half a million people without power, some still without. We felt like pioneers!  It was beautiful, but now we must deal with all the broken branches, some huge, from our trees.  Anyone in Florida want to house swap for the rest of the winter?  My cat stays with the house!
