This explanation says it all and I am so appreciative that people on this board are so knowledgeable. THe koko person has got too many posts for the shameless way he speaks to people here. THis is a copy of slowmovins' brilliance and excellant explanation that probably still won't shut the koko guy up but nonetheless, states a huge portion of reality that will be difficult to argue.

........""when the people who have RA knows there problem is their Immune system that is producing to many cells the goal is to try to cut back on the production of the cell and here this herb is promoting to enhance you immune system. The total opposite if what RA needs. Our problem is our Immune system.

Regardless of the exact trigger, the result is an immune system that is geared up to promote inflammation in the joints and occasionally other tissues of the body. Immune cells, called lymphocytes, are activated and chemical messengers (cytokines, such as tumor necrosis factor/TNF and interleukin-1/IL-1) are expressed in the inflamed areas.

Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disease that causes chronic inflammation of the joints. Rheumatoid arthritis can also cause inflammation of the tissue around the joints, as well as other organs in the body. Autoimmune diseases are illnesses that occur when the body tissues are mistakenly attacked by its own immune system. The immune system is a complex organization of cells and antibodies designed normally to "seek and destroy" invaders of the body, particularly infections. Patients with autoimmune diseases have antibodies in their blood that target their own body tissues, where they can be associated with inflammation. Because it can affect multiple other organs of the body, rheumatoid arthritis is referred to as a systemic illness and is sometimes called rheumatoid disease.

While rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic illness, meaning it can last for years, patients may experience long periods without symptoms. Typically, however, rheumatoid arthritis is a progressive illness that has the potential to cause joint destruction and functional disability.

I am curious you said that people who take drugs for arthritis are addicts we take are meds daily. This herb you also have to take daily. So what is the difference. The number one thing a person who has RA doesnt need is to boost the immune system that like pooring gas on a burning fire. Like how you said some citrus fruits can trigger problem that is because of the vitamins in that fruit that boost the immune system. I am just getting confused about this herb is all just trying to figure it out still doing more research.  Its like me telling you to forget you diet and herbs and eat junk food.

Yep, SlowMovin' done a wonderful job! Thank YOU

Why in Hell are you even responding to this post! Ignore it for goodness sake!  Is that so hard to do?   Perhaps every time we have a newbie on the board, they should be warned about this.  Let's have some volunteers to do this.  Some people are on here most of the time, so perhaps they could do this for others that do not frequent the board as often. People that have been on here for a while do not bother with this jerk, so let's follow suit.
Whaddea say??

I didn't post to make people upset i was just trying to show koka my point of view if he liked it or not.It was just the facts.Maybe he might have realized he was mistaken because i did send him this info to him last night so he could read what i have wrote before i posted for everyone to read.

Maybe he will leave well enough alone as we all should let things lie and move on if he starts to rant and rave just ignore him if you can and that is your choice. He probably thought he was doing a right thing trying to help but didn't realize that the med he was talking about was bad for people with a immune problem.I just wish him the best of luck and I am moving on.

Take care

I am sorry if I have offened anyone that was not my intention to make people upset about this problem just was sharing my thoughts.

Hi slowmovin,

I know I'm new here (not really), but just thought I 'd add my 2 cents. You are trying to use common sense and logic. These nuts don't care about your point of view. They are so hung up on themselves, they are not aware of anyone else except as targets. The only solution is to treat them as invisible. NEVER acknowledge them at all. It is like cutting off their oxygen. Eventually they will suffocate or move on. auntiannie

Im sorry doing research on many different things is just something that i like to do especially if i get the chance to prove someone wrong If you wish not to talk to him that is your decision just dont click on the topics just dont comment on anything he has to say he enjoys the negativity. When I realize that I am done with him that is when I will give up and cut the tie.

But thank you for the warning

It is good to respond with informative - albeit counter-active - answers. Though it may be irksome to 'feed' the troll and thus trigger more troll-spew, it is also good to balance the aformentioned spew with well-researched knowledge from other sources. I don't think it's a good idea to let a troll's blather stand alone; another side must also be represented.

In many cases, it makes sense to ignore the troll, but not when decent information is of the utmost importance. There are many who come to this site seriously in search of answers; they must be properly allotted balanced guidance, with consideration that any one of these random threads may be all they read before they move on. It is good to step in for the sake of clarity, and that potential hope sought by a future reader.
