There was a tragic explosion at 8am this morning at a manufacturing plant in Milwaukee. It actually shook our house and rattled our windows. We literally felt the shockwave and the pressure change. People from Racine (about 35 miles south of Milwaukee) felt the explosion also. If we could please send up some thoughts and prayers for the families of this tragedy it would be much appreciated. I saw that on TV and was going to ask how you were. The
community will be in my prayers.You know Liz, the more I think about it the more I'm going to have to call my mom tonight. My uncle and my cousin both work at places that I can't remember, and they travel over your way for work sometimes. I'm hoping that place WASN'T where they work...but now I have to find out!
The company is Falk Corporation. As of the latest update 3 people have died, 37 injured, and all employees accounted for.
